Gaziantep is a city rich in history and culture, but it also takes great pride in preserving the everyday traditions of its ancestors. The Kitchen Museum, also known as the Cuisine Museum, offers a deep dive into the region’s world-famous culinary heritage, which has been recognized as a UNESCO-listed gastronomic city. The museum is housed in a historical home that once belonged to Turkey’s first tourism minister. After returning to his childhood city and noticing the deterioration of his family’s old home, he purchased the building and donated it, with the specific request that it be transformed into a museum dedicated to Gaziantep’s cuisine and Turkish lifestyle.
Step into the past and discover the flavors that define Gaziantep’s rich heritage at the Kitchen Museum!
