Oludeniz is world-famous for paragliding—and for good reason. Kas is one of the top diving destinations along the Turkish coast, known for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant marine life, and fascinating underwater ruins. Whether you're a certified diver or a complete beginner, there are dive spots and courses to suit every experience level—even buddy dives for first-timers. Fethiye also has great diving, but please note: if you're on the standard Fethiye–Olympos route, diving is only available in Kas. You can book in advance or speak to your captain when you board—but space is limited, so early notice is best.
At Alaturca, we take pride in the meals we serve. Food is a big part of the gulet experience, and many of our guests say it’s a highlight of their trip. Every dish is made fresh with seasonal, local ingredients, and our onboard chefs are among the best in the business. What’s on the Menu? Breakfast A traditional Turkish breakfast with something for everyone—from egg dishes to fresh fruits, cheeses, olives, and more. Lunch A hot, homemade Turkish lunch featuring vegetable dishes, Turkish-style rice or pasta, fresh salads, and of course, warm Turkish bread. Dinner Every night is BBQ night. Enjoy grilled fish, chicken, or köfte (Turkish meatballs), served with rice, vegetables, and fresh salads. It’s a feast, and there’s plenty to go around. Vegetarian options are always available. Snacks & Fruits Afternoons mean tea or coffee with cookies and biscuits. Fresh seasonal fruit is served throughout the day and evening. Special Requests & Notes Vegetarians and Dietary Needs No need to let us know when you book, but please remind us at check-in or before boarding so we can prepare accordingly. Celebrating a Birthday? Let us know at the time of booking and we’ll help make the day special. Cabin Cruises Meals are included (except for breakfast on Day 1 and dinner on the final day). Private Charters Meals are optional: Option 1: Add meals for an extra cost. Option 2: Bring your own food. Our chef can even take you shopping before departure, and their service (plus full use of the kitchen) is included either way.

One of the best ways to unwind and connect with fellow travelers on your Blue Cruise is by playing games on board. Every gulet comes with a deck of cards and a backgammon set—so there’s always something to dive into between swims and meals. Chances are, someone on board knows a great card or drinking game to get the fun started. And if you’re feeling curious, try your hand at backgammon, often called the national game of Turkey. It’s easy to learn, addictive to play, and the perfect way to pass the time on deck.
Gozleme is a beloved Turkish dish—often called a Turkish pancake or crepe—served sweet or savory. And some of the best you’ll ever taste? They’ll find you while you’re cruising with Alaturca. At St. Nicholas Island, keep an eye out for local ladies in small boats rowing between gulets, cooking fresh gözleme right there on the water. Made to order by skilled Turkish mamas, these pancakes are thin, warm, and packed with flavor. Popular fillings include: Chocolate & banana (for your sweet tooth) Potato, cheese, onion & parsley (a savory favorite) Even if you're not hungry, treat yourself. One bite and you’ll be glad you did.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or just curious to give it a go, we’ve got fishing lines on board for anyone who wants to try. Just ask your friendly crew—they’ll help set you up and let you know the best times and spots to cast a line. There are no guarantees on what you’ll catch (if anything!), but it’s all part of the fun. And if you do land something worth sharing, our chef will happily cook it up for dinner. So grab a line, kick back, and see what bites—who knows, you might catch the freshest meal of the trip.
Butterfly Valley is one of the most iconic and scenic spots along the Turkish coastline. This stunning valley opens out onto a beautiful beach, backed by towering cliffs and lush greenery. Once your gulet is anchored, you can swim to shore or hop in the dinghy. Your crew will help get your shoes and camera across safely so you're ready to explore. A small entrance fee gives you access to the valley path, where you can wander into the gorge and, if you’re lucky, spot some of the butterflies that gave this place its name. Peaceful, wild, and picture-perfect—Butterfly Valley is a moment you don’t want to miss.
Snorkeling is a favorite activity on our cruises—and with good reason. At every swim stop along the route, you’ll have the chance to grab some gear, jump in, and explore the crystal-clear waters below. Many of the bays we visit are known for calm conditions and great visibility, perfect for spotting marine life. If you’re lucky, you might even swim alongside a sea turtle or two—they’re often spotted and not shy around people. Just ask the crew to pass around the snorkel sets, then dive in and see what you can discover.

Most nights on board, weather permitting, our chefs fire up the BBQ for a delicious dinner under the stars. It’s one of the highlights of the cruise—a chance to relax, chat with fellow passengers, and enjoy the mouth-watering smells drifting from the grill. The BBQ is usually set up at the front of the boat, making it the perfect spot to unwind, sundowner in hand, as the day fades into evening. Good food, good views, and good company—what more could you want?
